An actually underrated Eastwood film.

The acting is all fine, although the performances are more or less safe, with some slight overacting except from the psychopath who is actually perfect. Eastwood directs in a well realized style and setting and it never seems forced or unrealistic. You do not learn that much about any of the characters but that is actually okay because the story is interesting. They stay true to the actually events which I always appreciate, and they put everything together just right to make it all work. It just is a fascinating true story that I am glad was told.
Pros: One great performance, an interesting story and time period is well realized. Historical accuracy.
Cons: Some over acting in the lead due to seemingly forced Oscar baiting.
