Oscar Nominee Best supporting actor Al Pacino 4/5- Al Pacino in this is good in his leading role but I still don't fully believe his full transformation in the films from veteran to ruthless mobsters.
Oscar Nominee Best Supporting Actor James Caan 5/5- Caan as Sonny is perfect as the hot headed brother. His intensity he gives to the role is pitch perfect. All his actions and moves he makes are well done and creates a compelling character.
Oscar Nominee Best Supporting Actor Robert Duvall 3/5- Duvall is fine as Tom Hagen but the character does not require a lot to do. He is mostly a functionary character. He does perform his functions well but there are not really any scene that require his character to be important mostly he just informs people of things.
