Musical biopic okay but fails in many ways.

This musical biopic which is I suppose the first one of them is okay but not great. It follows Ray story very closely almost too closely actually. It just shows him play and keep playing meeting various other famous people, and singing some more. Each meeting is not all too complicated or well done, and it then goes to his drug problems until they get too severe then he recovers from that too. Nothing is that well done or really has that much of depth. Another problem is I thought this and late Walk the Line both fail from really showing them become popular or their overall effect on the country. You never see that they become popular apparently but you are never truly shown how or why.
Oscar Win Best Actor Jamie Fox 2/5- Fox does not actually sing himself, and mostly just does a non perfect impression. He is okay but he does not do really all that is needed. His impression is slightly off he does not actually do his own signing and many of is gestures do seem overdone many time.
