Not really a movie... but fascinating nonetheless

A movie so bizarre they couldn't let it go on for more that 16 minutes, Un chien andalou is truly one of a kind. Surrealist Salvador Dali and Director Luis Bunuel have created this film which captures the true nature of a dream in all its form. Logic is ultimately pointless, plot is nonexistent, actions are unexplainable, and meaning is barely comprehend able. While it's won't be a life changing film for anyone because of its strange and sometimes disturbing nature, Un chien andalou must be appreciated for its inspired show in experimental film making. It also must be understood that the true purpose of the film is nothing more than to evoke thought and emotion in the mind of the viewer. Don't expect to enjoy, expect to ponder.
(be warned: some disturbing content)
