I enjoyed this movie, but it's so strange that I don't often recommend it to anyone. I was drawn to it by its provocative title, and then by the fact that its screenplay was written by one of my favorite writers, Kazuo Ishiguro.
It's a trip to experience, like an early talkie produced and directed by acid freaks. No need to follow the wacky plot. Just sink into the startling and dreamlike imagery and sounds.
