This is a fine and melodramatic version of the classic story of Heathcliffe and Cathy. It's not up to the level of the Olivier/Oberon version, but it's got atmosphere, and lust and longing. I love the Spanish-language title--Abismos de pasion--and the literally-translated title on the movie itself: Cumbres borrascosas. Either is an improvement on the English title.
