How the hell do you rate a movie like Plan 9? It's the quintessential bad movie, cheap and obtuse and pieced-together. Awful acting, costumes, script and set. But it's so much fun to watch! (And one of the spacemen is played by Dudley Manlove, one of the best actor names ever.)
I compromised with a three-star rating. One star for quality, but 4 stars for entertainment value. Get a case of cheap beer, invite some pals over, and act along with it. (More fun than Rocky Horror.)
