Fair play to this cop for being so stupid he talks his way into a voluntary manslaughter charge. I know it's supposed to be a gesture of self-sacrifice, but after you go across state lines to torture a teenager and leave him handcuffed and gagged for the FBI to find you're probably going to count your losses.
