Straight Bamboozled

I felt like I've been bamboozled by this one. I grew up on 80s action flicks. I'm a simple man: when I see Bruce Willis, I click "watch". But I soon realized he was there simply for star power. He's in the movie for about 20 minutes. It looked like 90% of his scenes were shot on a separate sound stage. It wouldn't surprise me if I learned they actually were. This would have made for a great made-for-tv movie. The script was highly predictable and I wouldn't have been surprised if it was written by a film school dropout. I looked hard for something redeeming about this movie, and that's saying something because I *LOVE* cheesy action flicks. But this isn't even a "so bad it's good" type movie. This movie also made me realize how much I missed D.B. Sweeney. He definitely needs to be more movies.
