It's just not good, and thats about all you need to know. Not funny enough to be a comedy, not serious enough to be taken seriously, and entertaining enough to be worth your time. It takes skill for a movie to be this unrealistic and formulaic at the same time and hits that spot perfectly while also being unpleasant and bland.
