Something Borrowed was not your typical chick flick in which everything worked out in the end. Even so the whole plot felt done before. Girl want guy, guy want girl, they get to together for a while and everything is fine then, something gets in the way to complicates the relationship and throws them off for a while, they work it out and in the end they in up together. The difference between this movie and almost EVERY other chick flick is the man happens to be the girl’s best friend’s man, just to throw a twist in there.
The acting was very well done. Ginnifer Goodwin did a grand job playing the beautiful but hopelessly single girl who doesn’t know a thing about how to date. Kat Hudson plays and slutty the annoying best friend so well you will want to slap her yourself. Colin Egglesfield is the adorably sweet and confused Dex that every girl want but loses hope for due to his hesitancy towards choosing a girl. Over all it was a good movie just done over and over again. We are all ready for something new.
