Contains an air of realism that is rarely captured on film, The Snowtown Murders is best watched with full knowledge of the true story it's based on, as it doesn't really go into much details and may leave some people a bit confused and with more than a few questions. However, the atmospheric dread is thick and the performances are hauntingly authentic. Definitely worth a look, but it's not for the faint of heart as it's not a pleasant viewing experience, just a very well-crafted one. Truly chilling in its grisly implications.
