Larger in scope and more complex then it's predecessor, The Raid 2 is admirable in its ambition, even if it makes for a less consistently exhilarating experience. However, when the action/fight sequences kick into high gear Gareth Evans more than delivers. Ultimately, The Raid 2 is a ridiculously violent and entertaining crime drama. (Rated R containing sequences of strong graphic brutal violence and gore, sexual content, and language)
