Enter the Dragon review

Enter The Dragon is Bruce Lee most commercially successful film. He choreographed the fight scenes and was involved with the films creation. Lee is named Lee on the film, whose task is to infiltrate an island of Dr. Han who runs an illegal business (opium and prostitution). This film was a mixture of Bond films, Taken and Bourne. The scenery was pleasing to look at. I just felt it could have been if more of his “real life” philosophical quotes were used. The last fight scene was cleverly executed, but fight scenes and elegant cinematography doesn’t define a classic film. The plot was too light and his manner of infiltrating the island is outdated, but was okay during that period. It could have had more depth if the story was improved. Still, Bruce Lee's presence and influence is undeniable. One of the pioneers of martial arts on film, his best work has been respected all over the world. He died at his prime, and we would never know what else he was capable of in creating quality films.
