Such a powerhouse casting with Nick Nolte (Sam Bowden), Jessica Lange, Gregory Peck, Juliette Lewis and Robert De Niro as the deranged Max Cady. The flow of the story was continuous and score brought more edge to the film. A minute concern I had was Cady's strength in enduring pain, which kind of removes the realism of the film. Sometimes the invincibleness of the character was too much. The script was descent, not one of Scosese's best thrillers, it did however, deliver the scary moments of a mad man.
