Well casted drama that didn't deliver the humor. The screenplay was good but the overall feel of the film just felt iffy. Julia Roberts was sensational and Quaid brings in the sincerity. Could have been a lot better if it had more comedic scenes, though the topic of marriage and falling apart doesn't seem fitting, still it could have been improved. Something to Talk About had some dragging and ludicrous scenes, but the intent was good if only the direction were better.
