Al Gore travels in support of his efforts to educate the public about the severity of the climate crisis. He shows the realization and need for creating such a documentary. The greenhouse effect, effects of global warming and climate changes were discussed with the various crowds he presented to. He utilizes concrete facts and recurrences such as Hurricane Katrina, coral reef depletion, glacial earthquake activity on the Greenland ice sheet, wildfires, and trapped methane gas release associated with permafrost melting. An Inconvenient Truth is an insightful look at how people tend to disregard our planet's resources while nature is being destroyed by uneducated people.
