Carol White (Julianne Moore) who develops multiple chemical sensitivity from symptoms triggered by chemicals found in everyday household and industrial products. Cinematography was good if only the screenplay could have been the same. It had too much dragging scenes from the “sharing’s” of the members in the community center and score was spooky though nothing was that scary except for the disease. One line that almost sums up the whole film was “We don’t really own our lives.” It showcases the talented Julian Moore’s capacity though there were not enough likable characters though its premise was creative. Safe is a British/American thriller which lacks the thrills to be good in its genre.
