Reservoir Dogs review

A character driven crime flick that is enjoyable for repeat viewings. Mr. Blonde (Michael Madsen), Mr. Blue (Eddie Bunker), Mr. Brown (Quentin Tarantino), Mr. Orange (Tim Roth), Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi), and Mr. White (Harvey Keitel). They are guided by Joe Cabot (Lawrence Tierney) and his son, "Nice Guy" Eddie (Chris Penn) plan on pilfering a diamond planned by Joe. Mr. White is with Mr. Orange who was shot. Mr. Blonde captures an officer named Marvin Nash (Kirk Baltz) and tortures him when the heist had gone haywire.
Screenplay was impressive with the following lines: Mr. Pink – “I don't tip because society says I have to. Alright, I tip when somebody really deserves a tip. If they put forth an effort, I'll give them something extra. But I mean, this tipping automatically, that's for the birds. As far as I'm concerned they're just doing their job.” “Look, if you show me a piece of paper that says the government shouldn't do that, I'll sign it, put it to a vote, I'll vote for it, but what I won't do is play ball.” Real time and realistic violence with dark humor were injected in this amazing debut of the director that had interesting characters, wonderful soundtrack with spectacular performances. Reservoir Dogs is a stylish crime black comedy that shows themes of racism, accidents, violence, crude language, decency (Blonde), death (Blue), trust (White), suspicion (Joe), beliefs (Pink) and duty (Orange) were delved into.
