Mike Weiss (Chris Evans) is a lawyer/drug addict who partners with Paul Danziger to handle a case of Vicky (Vinessa Shaw), an ER nurse involved with a contaminated needle. The premise in dealing with the sensitive case was intriguing though it wasn't presented clearly and the substance abuse was too much emphasized. Soundtrack was descent and Evans was really good in this true to life drama. Puncture wasn't as entertaining but was not that bad either.
