Cataleya (Zoe Saldana) is taught to become an assassin by her uncle. It was unusual how air vents in basements are screwed loosely, how easily it was to jump-off an elevator or 2 toothbrushes can become weapons. Soundtrack was not that enticing and plot and character development seemed rushed. Action scenes were nice but other than that, not much going on that will keep you interested. Even its mysterious conclusion will irritate and baffle you. Columbiana tries to be like Salt, La Femme Nikita and Bourne, but with less filling when it comes to the storytelling.
