Manna from Heaven

The picture kind of reminded me of Another Year. An unknown cast (with the exception of Shelley Duvall) with no Hollywood effects and technical direction. A family accidentally receives money from the sky. After a few years a nun tries to do the right thing by giving back. The movie had a lot of heart though the dialogues were too preachy and unbelievable. Morals such as money management, faith, kindness, family and ambition were exhibited. One has to be patient and open in this type of picture because of the slow pace and character development. The main source of it all was divulged almost half-way through the film. Nevertheless, the intent and direction are worth watching.
