Rampart review

Woody Harrelson definitely owns it (really brought his A game here), but overall it was a descent film. Officer Dave Brown (Harrelson) has two ex-wives that are sisters (Anne Heche and Cynthia Nixon). He ignores his family, womanizes, corrupt and a racist. Consists of brilliant acting from Harrelson, spectacular camera direction and a wonderful screenplay. Best quote that almost sums up the movie: Hart – “The rules change. Laws change. People change…but not you.” The blemishes this critic had were the unutilized strength of the cast, length for its simple plot and a disappointing finale despite investing on the flawed figure. Rampart depiction of a person who never changes that affect his life was well exhibited but could have been better in certain aspects
