"We live the good life and the only rule is never let your target escape, even if your target is you." An unexpected awesome film with a very solid cast and wonderful premise. In the future, a mutation has occurred in a percentage of the population giving them telekinetic powers while organized crime have almost ceased power. Joe (Willis and Gordon-Levitt) has a friend Seth (Dano) who doesn't close a loop. The Rainmaker and an old future self will be involved with Joe. Adding more details of the plot might ruin the experience.
In summary, the soundtrack, direction, performances and action sequences were spectacular. It's real suprise was the intelligent screenplay rarely seen for its genre. Looper is a fantastic sci-fi about sacrifice, love, sanity, choices, morality and time travel usage. Has the potential of being a cult classic for its high reply value in terms of viewing.
