Interesting premise but unfortunately was not presented in a more entertaining manner. Jack Terry (Travolta) is a sound-man who saves the life of Sally (Allen). His life becomes complicated after discovering the governor (and a presidential hopeful) had died in the "accident." Technically and plot-wise, this was brilliant. Had some nice quotes like: "No one wants to know about conspiracy any more!" from Jack and "Ya know, the only trouble I ever got into was when I was TOO careful!" from Sally. Acting was sincere though the main female lead was not that interesting. Soundtrack was likewise didn't have enough impact for certain scenes which does look dated. Overall feel of the picture was like a television show than a movie. Themes of voyeurism, malicious political agenda/power, truth and conspiracy were displayed.
