God Bless America review

"There are a lot of crazy people out there." - Highway cop. Who on their right mind (or even on Earth) would like to shoot a crying baby when the irony is the person thinking about it has a daughter? Who gets fired for sending somebody flowers to a colleague? What is wromg with peopl who talk about Punk Rock? Who enjoys seeing somebody conduct suicide? A lunatic and a loner team-up, what's new? Had tones of Falling Down, Super, Taxi Driver, Kick-Ass, Natural Born Killers/Super (as Chris pointed out), and Clerks since it bashes societies values and ethics. Frank Murdoch (Joel Murray) is fed-up of pop culture, talk radio, and internet videos that is realistically crazy these day of age. Truly dark, gruesome and disturbing, scenes with soundtracks felt like a music video. Humor was dry and plain amateurish. This reviewer digs dark comedies but this was ludicrous, absurd and over the top. God Bless America is a joke itself, relying on violence to strive for a better world...yeah right! So what makes Frank a better man? Killing every irritating person makes it cool and a Bonnie and Clyde ripoff tops the cake. This critic would view Natural Born Killers or Bonnie and Clyde any day than this filth.
