Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise) is a sniper trying to rescue a girl and was eventually framed. A simple plot yet prolonged by in adequate screenplay and including an underutilized Robert Duvall. The score was suspenseful and bountiful well choreographed action was in full display. This however was affected by the slow pace and uneven direction. Cruise played his part sincerely but as mentioned, it falls short as a whole. Jack Reacher is an average action movie that could have been so much better in the script and direction.
