Nothing new in the fourth installment. The story revolves around the family of Alex (Kathryn Newton). Katie (Katie Featherston) again plays a role in the popular franchise. Lack interesting figures and appropriate character background. The pace sluggish and scary moments were few and uninteresting. The acting of Newton was not as believable as Featherston (in the 1st two from the series). If only there was more to it than the usual book throwing/chandelier falling/bed sheet removal and dragging of the feet tactics were used and seen in the previous films. Paranormal Activity 4 is better than 2, still one of the worst from the series because of its similar premise, sub par performances and recycling of methods. The fifth should offer something refreshing and look back at their errors from this one.
