Assault on Wall Street review

Too depressing, unrealistic and just tried too hard to make a point. This film reminds this reviewer of a cross between V for Vendetta and Falling Down, a man who was fed up with society’s misgivings and life's cruelties. Jim and Rosie are struggling to pay for her treatment. The broker of Jim informs him about an investigation in his firm where he loses money on an investment. Mr. Patterson is a lawyer hired by Jim. The funny thing is, you have a hot headed swearing cop and a neurotic wife. Sean helps Jim with his situation. The acting was just horrendous. Soundtrack was redundant and the plot really made the banks/lawyers/brokers look like a-holes. How can one enter a building with a mask and not be detected by security? A few lines that try to impress: "Just hang in there." "Like I said, don't worry about." "The systems rigged.." “A soldier of the people.” All the cheesy lines and phony acting was just unbearable. The director manages to create another unsatisfying film. The only thing that was worth viewing was the last scene. Assault on Wall Street is a good title and the idea was there, if only the overall output could have been better.
