The Hangover Part III

The Hangover III review

Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong) escapes from prison. Alan's (Zach Galifianakis) father passes away. Doug (Justin Bartha) invites Phil (Bradley Cooper) and Stu (Ed Helms) that Alan has been off his ADHD medication and is out of control and wants to bring Alan to Arizona for treatment. Marshall (John Goodman) and "Black Doug" (Mike Epps) abduct the group of friends. Leslie stole $21 million dollars worth of gold from Marshall. Soundtrack was rocking and it was great to see John Goodman here. It was nice to have more of Leslie Chow but less of the humor and craziness of the Wolfpack. As always, Doug is the miscast. It shows that a zany ADHD can transform, a crazed criminal can have a heart and that friendship never ends (which is always the themes of the franchise. More of a crime flick now than a comedy, not as great as the first and at least much better (camera direction/plot-wise) than the second, The Hangover III was worth viewing for some minute laughs and how the characters evolved.
