The Odd Couple review

Revisiting a wonderful comedy that may seem exaggerated but still wonderful enough with themes of marriage, friendship and enjoying life. Oscar (Walter Matthau) meets a suicidal and neat Felix Ungar (Jack Lemmon). The slow start is very evident compared to when the two leads interact freely. Supporting cast (except for the sisters) were not that entertaining and interesting. It's plot maybe simple but still brings in the much needed humor. Screenplay was intelligently written with lines like "Life goes on even for those of us who are divorced, broke and sloppy." "With my expenses and my alimony, a prisoner takes home more pay than I do." and "It takes two to make a rotten marriage." Overall, the performances and dialogue were suffice to make it view-able and enjoyble.
