Annabelle Wallis is just perfection in this horror flick. Has the horrific elements of Paranormal Activity, Chucky and The Exorcist. Pacing was wonderful and the screenplay was provocative. Definitely way better than The Conjuring.in terms of the fear factor. So many tense moments especially the latter part of the film. Definitel one of the best films of its genre, it may be saying too much but this reviewer has seen enough horror films to make an opinion. Can't say too much because it could spoil the fun, but it is definitely worth viewing especially fans of the genre and those who want to know the fuss about a creepy doll. It all boils down to effective direction (some tips for those new to horror movies, try to be observant when the camera focuses on the artists, check the background for full effect), screenplay and realistic acting.
