Shrek 2 is a solid follow-up to the original, but it relies more on hip cultural references and less on the heart and soul that made the first one so touching. The good news! No smoking! Unlike the original, in which there was a cameo by Papa Bear smoking a pipe around a sleeping Baby Bear. Shrek 2 earned a SmokeScreeners Rating of No Butts! (http://tinyurl.com/ddbtte)

My favorite of the Shrek films, I find it much more entertaining - especially the addition of Antonio Banderas. I love the visual jokes throughout and the skewering of other pop icon films (most notably, Lord of the Rings).

Not nearly as good as the first one. It has lost most of it's laughs and originality that made the first one good. I can see why people still want to see sequels. It makes them comfortable. THIS movie made me uncomfortable.
