This movie is film school amateur hour. The George Clooney character was based on a real life CIA agent who was assigned to assassinate Saddam Hussein, but in the movie, the leader he is after is a progressive, likable leader who is a victim of the "evil" CIA and America. When about to be executed by terrorists in Lebanon, Clooney's character is actually rescued and set free by Hezbollah guerrilas. The filmmakers knowledge seems to be that of a college freshman whose only knowledge of geopolitics has come from taking Political Science 101 taught by Michael Moore.

An over blown, slow moving junk of a movie. I admitt that Clooney does a good job, but this can't save this boring, pointless (could have had a reason though), and ugly picture. Some may like it, but make sure you have a back-up plan.
