I love this show! I am not a fan of westerns at all, but Tombstone has lots of appeal that's separate from the western theme. The cast is fantastic. I loved Kilmer as Doc Holliday. There's even a small appearance by Billy Bob Thornton (I'd seen it several times before I realized it was him -- he does such a good job becoming his characters). Michael Biehn (from Terminator) is great as the unhinged Cowboy, Johnny Ringo. And Kurt Russell is tough and endearing as Wyatt. Adventure, drama and comedy that draws you in from the beginning. The only thing I don't like about this film is Dana Delany as the actress Josephine Marcus. I've never understood Dana's appeal -- I find her annoying and shallow.

I had forgotten just how incredible this movie was until I watched it again last night. I own 3 western-type movies and this is probably the movie that really got me into them (all 3 of them). By far, this is probably one of the best roles I've ever seen Val Kilmer in. His acting in this film is legendary and makes me wonder now....."what happened to him?" This is not your typical western either. Though I don't really know what a typical western is because like I said I don't watch them much. Great story. Great cast (even with Jason Preistly from 90210). Worth every single minute.

I am generally not a huge fan of the western genre. There are a few bright spots and alot of crap, this however is a bad ass flick. The bad assedness in this movie was made possible by one val kilmer playing doc holliday. He essentially wanders around being drunk and wooping ass and shooting people, in short he is my hero in this film. I wish doc holliday in this movie was my dad. Also this movie contains one of the most awesome scenes in any movie, if the rest of the movie was tellatubbies lotioning each other up, then that scene, then the end, it would still get 2.5 stars
