After the Wedding (Efter brylluppet) review

Jacob Petersen is India to assist in an orphanage. CEO Jørgen Hannson meets with Jacob to discuss the details of a possible donation to the orphanage. Jørgen then invites Jacob to her daughter's wedding, namely Anna's. Helene, Jørgen's wife, notices a familiar figure in the church. A realistic picture about love, sacrifice, fidelity, marriage, choices, and regret. Screenplay was good with lines from Jørgen - "But we can't control everything in the world." "Time should be well spent." and Anna - "You can't manipulate people like that." Score, cinematogprahy and direction were splendid, only reservations I had were the pacing in the beginning and somewhat late plot development to make the film interesting. Rolf Lassgård had an impressive performance, very touching and sincere. …
