27 Dresses - Minor Spoilers

A comedy that started out strong, but went downhill after imitating Shop Around the Corner. Also I could see traces of Aline Brosh McKenna's other script The Devil Wears Prada (it's set in NY, it's fashion conscious, and she doesn't see that the love of her life is right in front of her life.
I cringed while watching it, knowing that all romantic comedies are the same. This one is a little bit different. After all, how can you save a movie where the sisters are in love with the same man? So here we have Katherine Heigl as Jane Nichols, a woman who has been a bridesmaid for twenty-seven separate weddings, but when she finally finds somebody that she wants to make her a full-fledged bride, she has to deal with the unbearable truth that her sister Tess (Malin Akerman) is dating him. During this whole fiasco, Jane is half-stalked by a journalist, Kevin Doyle (James Marsden), who's fascinated by her history with weddings.
Where do I begin? There were so many aspects of this film that …
