"Leave it to fate." - Married woman in the theater. This is one the smartest drama comedies that this reviewer has seen. The story revolves around Fausto and Sandra Rubini (Leonora Ruffo). Fausto (Franco Fabrizi) gets married to Sandra because of his father. Leopoldo works on a play. The serious reflective Moraldo walks on empty streets. Alberto knows a secret from his sister Olga. Fausto then fancies Giulia Curti (Lída Baarová), the wife's boss. The pace, characterization and screenplay were impressive. The luscious score adds to the mood of each vital scene.
