A very early and very strange Buñuel film that's still very provocative.

As an experimental piece, this is an interesting combination of visual montage and thematic symbolism. I didn't connect with it as a story, but, taking each vignette as its own work of art, there are some really beautiful moments.

A useless string of images with no meaning. This 1 hour film took longer to pass than Lawrence of Arabia. Not as good as Un Chien Andalou and that's not saying much.

Golden Age... when the times of society near its doom was far, where the stablished order was peacefull, where everthing we loved, and everything we looked and hoped for was perfect. The time when our hearts and minds, being so naive, felt so comfortable. But then came the time when our destiny was fulfilled. And we got what we deserved. The angel of doom came, and raped our ideals. Our believes. Everything we thought was worthy to fight for. Everything was destroyed. Everything got dirty. Twisted. Since then, we go down, falling into the endless hole of moral, intelectual and spiritual darkness.
