1930s horror movie that tries to emulate the style of both Dracula and Frankenstein. Except it’s not really that scary. Not a bad cast though. Lionel Atwill is good as the sinister doctor. Fay Wray is likable as the damsel-in-distress. Maude Eburne is very funny as the comic relief. Dwight Frye is good as another eccentric lunatic.
