This film was not what i expected. The action was great as was the robots. I also believe that there will be another in this series as kyle has not even been talked about going back in time to save John's mother. I was not ready for another terminator after 3, but it pleasently surprises. The plot was a little thin, but I do recommend this if you like any of the previous ones. John's charater grew a pair in this film, and marcus added a great twist to the story. I never saw what was coming at the end.

Terminator: Salvation finally provides a tolerable and believable savior figure in John Conner (this character was a whiny bitch until now!) via Bale's innate ability to brood unlike any brooder ever. Sam Worthington also delivers a star-making performance (we all know he'll be Thor, right?) in the midst of Harvesters, transforming motorcycle T-bots, sperm looking and water dwelling terminators, as well as a cut sex scene with Moon Bloodgood to snag a PG-13 rating. It's all fun until McG forces a CGI Ahnold and a paper-thin script down our throats and proves he is an amatuer toying with superior effects and actors, which he has no idea how to helm or preserve.

Not worth seeing. I am a fan of the first 3 (yes, even the third one). This is just plain bad. The robots are cool and the action sequences are truly amazing. It can't save a crap script, flaws, and stupid plot points. Blah.
