I watched it on Superbowl Sunday one year and actually thought it was more exciting than the superbowl.

A brutal, sometimes exciting, well-acted portrait of professional football. I think this film properly captures the competition and wheeling and dealing that takes place behind the scenes. Jamie Foxx is fantastic, also.

The movie is almost as boring as watching football in real life. The most interesting part of the movie is when LL and Jamie Foxx had their feud which was a real life feud.

Any movie featuring the most awesome bad-ass ever, Lawrence Taylor has to be good, doesn't it? Actually, it is quite entertaining. The football scenes are frantic and over-the-top, but that's what makes it entertaining. Not a bad movie from Mr. Stone.

You can tell Oliver Stone, whether he's focusing on assassinations or football. This is flashy, frantic and somewhat over-the-top, but it's never dull. This isn't any new territory here - but Stone leaves his mark and it's a worthy effort.
