It is Valentine's day and people, singles or in a relationship alike, gets some story of hook-ups, break-ups and make-ups. **** What I like about this film was every character received spotlights on their stories. There are good stories, and there are bad, good goes to *SPOILER ALERT* Ashton Kutcher's supposed engagement and bad goes to the two Taylors non-sense romantic subplot. Lots of love stories are predictable and usual except the gay thing twist.

One of those flicks where the cast sells the films image and marketing. Not as amusing or entertaining as Love Actually. Obviously the number of characters lacks development so the plot confuses. Chris Rockhas a simplistic story made complicated and lentghened. Definitely nothing memorable and easilly forgetable.

The creators of this film obviously wanted to emulate Love Actually and develop a romantic comedy of interconnected storylines. The problem is that they went overboard and there are too many competing storylines for any of the characters to be truly fleshed out. As a result, most of the stories (with the exception of the older couple) are merely a string of cameos of famous actors who spout off romantic cliches and resolve their plots in unconvincing, convenient ways.

Out of all the films of 2010, this was by far one of the most disappointing. Sure, its great for a "Six Degrees of Separation" game, but other than that, the star power behind this film was not enough to carry this poorly-devised "tapestry" of stories. There were interesting plots, such as the Julia Roberts/Bradley Coooper story arc, and the Topher Grace/Anne Hathaway story; and even the Emma Roberts arc was acceptable, but really? Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift - Pointless. Ashton Kutcher/Jessica Alba was boring and everything else...Urgh. Too much hype, not enough payoff.

I expected more from Gary Marshall. The story lines were predictable. A packed cast does not guarantee a good movie.

Not good but not horrible. There were too many stories to interact with and many I didn't care about. Most of the cast was OK and I didn't ate any of them. Still, it was pretty long for the subject matter and jammed packed with too much info.

This movie featured a very solid cast, all with a different story on Valentine's Day. Overall, the acting was good, and the story was solid. It's billed as a romantic comedy, and there was some humor along the way. However, overall the movie tended to drag along while the storylines tied together, and the humorous parts were few and far between. In the end, all of the storys turned out to be quite predictable. For the most part, this was an enjoyable film, but not exactly what I was hoping for.

This was a solid movie--good cast, good acting and good entertaining. It reminded me of an American version of Love, Actually. There were probably some stories that could have been developed a little better such as the Foxx/Biel story. There were some that were incredibly annoying, such as the Taylor/Taylor story. Some were just heartwarming such as the Julia Roberts story, and others were just....McSteamy. This is definitely a fun date movie. I would definitely recommend it.
