The story is about a teen vows two things before his next birthday: to love his virginity and to break up the relationship between his mother and an old flame who has come back into their lives. This movie is odd but wonderful in one big movie.

Loved the acerbic/absurdist first half, but the plot got bogged down in melodrama during the second half and became much more conventional.

Not a bad film, but a bit dry and morose for my tastes. Still, keep an eye on Craig Roberts - he delivers a good performance and should have a good future ahead of him based on this movie alone.

A teenager from Wales, Oliver Tate, faces chapters of his life which he tries to figure all things out. First, his relationship with his girlfriend. And second, the issues on his family with his mother allegedly having an affair with someone not his dad. *** I found nothing special on this film, but I appreciate the attempt of delivering truth about a life of a teenager. I saw Craig Roberts performed well on this. I also like some shots but the over-all "feel" of the film was a bit messy for me.
