Chev Chelios is a hit man injected by his rival with a poison that will kill him if his heart rate drops. Informed by his doc that he must keep his adrenaline peaked, he seeks ways to keep himself thrilled while seeking revenge on his rival. This movie is nuts and out of this world crazy but funny at the same time.

okay so dude sniff ssome coke but its one that can kill him if he doesnt keep his BLOOD PUMPING. tHE MOVIE WAS FILLED ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT ACTION BUT AT THE END I WAS A LITTLE CONFUSED IF HE ACTUALLY DIES OR DOES HE LIVE. i WOULD SAY THE END WAS BOGUS

Chev Chelios (Jason Statham), a skilled hit man, is injected by a poison. Ricky Verona (Jose Pablo Cantillo), the person responsible, has a brother who is killed by Chelios. Doc Miles (Dwight Yoakam), the doctor of Chev, advises him that he needs adrenaline to keep alive. Chev informs his girlfriend Eve (Amy Smart) about his true identity. The stunts and camera direction were superb. Soundtrack made the flick enjoyable and Statham seemed to embrace the role. Crank is a high octane action flick to its truest sense that is highly entertaining despite some of the unbelievable sequences.

Little different twist on the standard action flick...and a hot guy...yeah. I'm in. It's a light, fun, amusing movie for those with a taste for that. The serious types will probably hate it for not being realistic...which completely misses the point of the movie. It's the guy version of Run Lola Run.

If you can suspend your belief and embrace this as a mindless, but sometimes inventive action film, it kind of works. If not, you'll likely find this movie to be terrible. And it is, but terribly fun.

A crazy, frantic, adrenaline fueled, fun action flick. It's the action movie that NEVER stops for one minute. That's what makes it so awesome.

This is a video game masquerading as a movie. As long as you realize that, you'll have fun. It's all action, and none of it is really believable, but that's the point of video games anyway. This one just happens to be controlled for you.

Wow, this is hysterically bad. But I like Jason Statham so I gave it a shot. It is entertaining, but only for the fact that it is so stupid. My favorite part maybe was the car chase scene in the mall.
