I can't remember how old Kevin's Bacon character was in the movie but he knows how to kick some serious.

Death Sentence is about a father looses his who family to gang violence. He decides to get even and kill them all.

The story of the film is cliche and has been done before about loads of times, but in this movie the story was a little more gritty and shocking at times. James Wan directed the movie very good and there is a scene in this movie and it's not a spoiler, it's just a scene were Kevin Bacon's character is getting chase by some gang and as he is running away from them, you get that one shot take were there don't cut away and there just show the action without editing, and it was really done that scene. Kevin Bacon was due for another good movie

Another thing I was surprised with was the quality of directing. Ian Jeffers took what could have been more of a …

Funny--But Not in a Positive Way!

The first half of the film was really good because the film quickly reached the core of the drama. Yes, it was sad but it was also very entertaining stuff. But then when Kevin Bacon's character turned into Jason Bourne, I couldn't help but notice how ridiculous it got. Think of it as "Terms of Endearment" turning into "Shoot 'Em Up" in a time span of about thirty minutes. It was so funny--and not in a good way! I think if the filmmakers would have stuck with how the family copes after the death of a family member, it would have been much more profound and touching. Instead, we see the evolution of a man: from a professional, normal family guy to an assassin with a "cause." Even that sounds ridiculous! I don't know, if one is bored and is up for a laugh, then check this one out. …
