Again another genre breakthrough. It's horror combined with sci-fi and comedy. Who needs exorcism when you can just vacuum ghosts in an iron-clad locked box. I guess it comes in different colors and styles nowadays. I'm sure any look-alike gizmos would sell in E-bay like hotcakes. Good tip, huh. Funny...Hilarious...entertaining.

Great comedy, and state of the art special effect clashed and made one of the best films of the 80's. It's lightning in a bottle and could never be recaptured. A success on all levels, with Bill Murray coming out on top, just above Rick Moranis. And Sigourney is gorgeous!!

This is one of those great films that manages to be enjoyable every time you watch it. It holds up overtime and doesn't get old. It's completely hilarious at times. Bill Murray is absolutely great in this film. Actually the only person who I wish wasn't in it was Rick Moranis. His character annoys me, but whatever. The special effects are top-notch for the time the film came out. Looking at the dogs can be kind of funny, but really overall great special effects. I just never get tired of this movie.

One of the most popular films of the 1980s, Ghostbusters succeeded in capturing an audience and keeping a following well after the 1980s. The 1980s and this film seem to be tied together. It was a huge hit with a product range, a sequel, and a cartoon series -- not to mention the catchy theme song: 'I ain't afraid of no ghosts.' Ghostbusters is a fun film. For the mid-80's the special effects were done quite well and I commend the makers for it. My personal favorite line in the movie is when Bill Murray says "I make it a rule to never sleep with possesed clients, (and Sigorney Weaver kisses him), it's more of a guide-line than a rule."

A great 80s classic with the right group of people and an excellent story. Funny but smart, this is one of those films I can always pick out and watch and never be disappointed.

Great original idea and wicked funny comedy. I have seen this movie many times and it keeps getting better. One of Bill Murray's funniest roles.
