Another perfect Spielberg staple

A movie from the 90's that has visual effects better than some of the movies today. My God.
Jurassic Park is another Spielberg staple. It has all the fun and adventure, big life feeling and the John Williams score blazing through majestic shots.
There is not a lot to say about this movie, other than that it is fun. It can make anyone happy, that is Spielberg's talent; he knows how to entertain properly.
The film is so well structured, opening with a typical Spielberg introduction, getting to know the characters but summing everything up within ten minutes to get to the exciting bits.
The dinosaurs are simply stunning, I had to pick the film up on Blu-Ray.
The acting… Doesn't matter. Everything outweighs the on-screen reactions of the characters.
Once again, another feel-good …

Those Who Endure The First Hour Will Be Rewarded

Jurassic Park is surprisingly good, and I say "surprisingly," because I didn't know how much more I really wanted to watch after the first hour. Roughly the first 60 minutes is contaminated with utter boredom. In fact, most of this first hour wasn't even necessary. If I could crop out the 5-10 minutes of the first hour that were important, I imagine that the audience would still understand what was happening. Maybe it was just my inner-boy speaking, but I wanted to see some dinosaurs for cryin' out loud!
But I digress.
(To the film's credit, though, we do see some dinos before they begin their reign of terror, but most are in the background, one we only get a glimpse of his claw and eye. Only one dino is fully exposed, and it doesn't really do anything. And before the dinos start …

Jurassic Park review

I for one was always fascinated with dinosaurs as a kid. This is one of several milestones of Steven Spielberg. A novel based film; I felt that there was not a single figure was attention-grabbing. Dr. John Hammond" (Richard Attenborough) was like a babbling geek, Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neil) was too serious, Dr. Ellie Sattler (Lauren Dern) wasn’t that pretty/charming enough and the vexing Dr. Ian Malcom (Jeff Goldblum) just kept complaining too much. The kids were a blast and Wayne Knights character made the film more engaging and believable. The effects were highly convincing, story was not that interesting though since it just tried to frighten the viewers in the second half of the picture. Having a solid cast helps like Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough, …

One of the biggest moneymakers of all time!!

In 1993, JURASSIC PARK broke box office records and set a new high for an action adventure film. Garnishing nominations for several Academy Awards, this film went on to become one of the greatest box office smashes in cinematic history. The film stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Bob Peck, Martin Ferrero, B.D. Wong, Samuel L. Jackson, Wayne Knight, Joseph Mazzello, Ariana Richards, and Richard Attenborough. The acting is very good and the special effects are very realistic. Michael Crichton created one of the most original ideas ever. By using dinosaurs as the basis for his book, he and David Koepp created a sensation. I don't think I know a single person who hasn't seen this film. Definetly one of the greatest American movies of all time. Sure to be a classic well into the next …

Ever since the first dinosaur skeleton was dug up, people speculated on how dinosaurs looked, and how they lived. "Dr. John Hammond" (Richard Attenborough) was one of those who speculated those things, and came up with a way to study them -- by bringing them back to life through cloning.
"Dr. Hammond" bought an island 120 miles off of Costa Rica for his cloned dinosaurs to live in a barricaded community, but his investors are not convinced that he has done everything he could do with this park. So, he brings in paleobotanists "Dr. Alan Grant" (Sam Neil) and "Dr. Ellie Sattler" (Lauren Dern), as well as the highly annoying mathematician "Dr. Ian Malcom" (Jeff Goldblum), who specializes in chaos theory. Their job is to endorse the park so that the insurance company and investors will …
