Adequate if thinly plotted sequel to the franchise. It’s got a lame villain but Renee Russo is a welcome addition to the series.

Weakest of the franchise since it revolved too much of the humor. Riggs and Murtaugh are reinstated as Detectives by their superior, Captain Murphy (Kahan). Murphy introduces internal affairs Sergeant Lorna Cole (Russo) to the pair. Lacks the impact of the previous two films. Mobster Tyrone (Millar) was a decent foe and the movie's conclusion somewhat abrupt. Lethal Weapon 3 is an okay watch but not as enjoyable as the first and second of the franchise.

Everything here still works. It's almost as good as the first two.

The last solid film in the Lethal Weapon franchise, before it was taken over by Joe Pesci's annoying comedic relief. Strong chemistry between the leads and some raw and brutal action sequences that balance out the comedy.

Ok, so I like action- what guy doesn't?...and say what you want about the Lethal Weapon series but what it does have plenty of is action. I really like all four of them but the final one seemed over the top a bit. The chemistry between Mel Gibsons' Riggs and Danny Glovers' Murtaugh is awesome and the return of Joe Pesci as Leo Getz and addition of Rene Russo as Lauren Cole make this one of my favorites. If you are a Gibson fan you will love this movie as he gets even more lethal chasing the bad guy but so does his partner Glover. Not to be outdone is Russo, who seems to be the perfect match for Riggs, both as a fierce butt kicker and a love interest. Loads of fun for sure and #48 on my list.

Lethal Weapon 3 continues the tradition of the first two films - action, comedy, great chemistry. Why mess with a good formula when everything works so well?
