Adequate if thinly plotted sequel to the franchise. It’s got a lame villain but Renee Russo is a welcome addition to the series.

Weakest of the franchise since it revolved too much of the humor. Riggs and Murtaugh are reinstated as Detectives by their superior, Captain Murphy (Kahan). Murphy introduces internal affairs Sergeant Lorna Cole (Russo) to the pair. Lacks the impact of the previous two films. Mobster Tyrone (Millar) was a decent foe and the movie's conclusion somewhat abrupt. Lethal Weapon 3 is an okay watch but not as enjoyable as the first and second of the franchise.
